Introducing EdenApp – Thermal Comfort

EdenApp Thermal Comfort is a high-efficiency data collection tool to measure environmental condition and personal subjective thermal perception.

Different with traditional field studies tools which including questionnaire and costly sensors, EdenApp Thermal could help you conduct digital questionnaire and environmental sensing by low-cost sensors. Ita��s easy, fast and accurate. Your collected data could then be uploaded to our cloud server and download it from your computer.

For research, researchers could easily use our app for building energy system and comfort study. EdenApp Thermal could measure environmental parameter such as ambient temperature, Infrared temperature, relative humidity and illuminance and travelling speed. It could also collect subjective data such as thermal sensation vote, thermal preference, clothing level and metabolic rate to help you build the relationship between environment and human activity. In addition, as it is easy to carry, you could also conduct personal long-term monitoring without the limit of location which is more useful for field studies.

For teaching, students could understand the real meaning of their surrounding environmental condition and how their body interact with it. By using EdenApp, the teaching experience is converted into studenta��s way, a digital mobile world which is more acceptable for young people. The app could easily download from app store on each studenta��s pocket. It is a good way to stimulate student have active learning during their spare time.

EdenApp Thermal contains three parts: the mobile app, SensorTag and Testo 405i. The app will be available on App Store soon. (If you want to get the version we are now testing, please contact with us.) SensorTag and Testo 405i is easy to buy on Farnell, Amazon, ebay etc.
